Our Partners and Collaborators Genomic Health actively partners and collaborates with academic and industry organizations to develop new products and distribute its individualized, genomic-based clinical laboratory services. Genomic Health collaborates with The National Surgical Adjuvant Breast and Bowel Project (NSABP), Northern California Kaiser Permanente, the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG), and the Southwest Oncology Group (SWOG) on the conduct of extensive clinical research using genomic analyses of tumor tissue to enhance information about individualized prognosis and for use in treatment decision making. In addition, the company sponsors ongoing trials with noted clinical collaborators at universities, community hospitals, comprehensive cancer centers, and cooperative groups in the US, Asia, and Europe. We also partner with leading companies developing oncology products to investigate and develop genomic-based testing to predict the likelihood of response to targeted therapeutics in various tumor types. We focus on increasing the value proposition of clinical treatment for patients through partnerships with pharmaceutical companies including sanofi-aventis and Bristol-Myers Squibb/ImClone Systems.
