How Do I Get a Test?

Oncotype DX® is a diagnostic test that can only be ordered by your authorized healthcare provider. It is a non-invasive test that is performed on a small amount of the tissue removed during your original surgery (lumpectomy, mastectomy, or core biopsy). This means you do not have to undergo any additional invasive procedures.

Your authorized healthcare provider submits the tumor tissue sample to Genomic Health® for analysis. The results of the Oncotype DX assay are provided to your physician within 10 to 14 days from the date the tumor sample is sent to Genomic Health.

Talk to your healthcare provider to determine if Oncotype DX is right for you.
